RAD spaces

This weekend I was able to work a bit on organizing my place (which it's in serious need of ), and naturally before doing so I went to Pinterest to look up some organizational inspiration. A good hour plus later (as all Pinterest searches end up being a total time suck), I found some great small space living ideas which totally make me want to DIY everything in my apartment now (never gonna happen), but also, in doing so, I realized I haven't posted any rad space inspiration as of late either. So here's a few spaces I'm loving recently - these are heavy on the minimum-space-maximum-impact vibe, since I love that half-table accent and that cork board wall. Happy spacing!

RAD spaces

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I recently rented a new loft-style apartment that I'll be moving into at the end of the month. I am super excited to have a new space to call my own (my first apartment that's solely mine) and to decorate the hell out of it (in normal me fashion). Since the space is very open, with high ceilings and huge windows, I'm excited to play around with some light options and hanging decor (plants, lights, etc.)

The floors are concrete, so I've already purchased (thanks, Mom!) an awesome 8x10 black and white diamond-shag carpet (this one here) for my bedroom space, and will be looking for something equally shaggy for my living space to go with my marble-based arc lamp. Since closets are notably absent in loft spaces, I also purchased a warehouse-looking clothing rack that I got on super sale here

Below are some of my inspiration photos that I'm using to draw ideas from, as of late. I would love to hear any recommendations on rugs or decor items you think I would love!

RAD spaces

It's been a bit since I posted some of the RAD spaces I'm loving lately. Below are a few of my Pinterest favorites at the moment. I definitely see a trend in my picks: lots of white space, fur accents, Eames-style chairs, and greenery. Can't say I don't have a type.

Now, if only I had unlimited funds to make all these decor dreams come true. One can dream.

RAD spaces

It's been a good bit since I posted some of my favorite spaces of the moment. These few hit hard in the rustic/bohemian style that I love. And I'm really really digging the use of subway tiles in bathrooms and kitchens lately. It's old but it somehow remains to still be fresh.

I love all the open spaces and the use of greenery in them. I wish I didn't kill everything I touched, because I would have plants everywhere. Ah, woulda coulda shoulda...

RAD spaces

I've been on a total interior design binge lately, partially bc I just love home decor so much, and partially bc I'm moving and get a fresh chance to redecorate and recreate. This past weekend my boyfriend and I put up a few new shelves and set up my bar area, which totally got me excited to start painting, decorating, and transforming the whole place. I picked up a few of the Ikea Ribba picture ledges - which I have to say are amazing. Super easy to put up, and great for all my artwork (and man, I have a LOT of artwork). We'll also be putting this awesome wall covering up on one of the living room walls, since it's a weird tiny wall right smack in the middle of the room (this photo was my inspiration for that). Below are some of my home design inspirations via Pinterest. I'm really digging a lot of faux fur (rugs, pillows, throws, errything), repurposed wood panels, white walls, greenery, and simple furniture. A girl can dream :).
